About Sino-Dutch Advanced Materials Forum
Scientific collaboration between China and The Netherlands, especially in the field of sustainable energy has proven to be fruitful over the last decades. This year is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Netherlands. On this occasion, we are going to hold a Sino-Dutch Advanced Materials Forum. Experts from China and the Netherlands who have long-term collaboration will be invited to give presentations. Experts and leaders of science and technology departments of China and the Netherlands will work together to promote further collaborations between China and the Netherlands in the field of advanced materials, which highlights the forum. In addition, recent progress on coating material program run jointly by Dutch-CBBC and Ministry of Science and Technology China will be updated.
About The Workshop on Device Integrated Responsive Materials
South China Normal University (SCNU) is pioneering in establishing collaboration with universities in the Netherlands, especially in the field of future carbon neutral new materials. SCNU jointly established “National Center for International Research on Green Optoelectronics (IRGO)” and “The Laboratory for Device Integrated Responsive Materials (DIRM)” with Dutch universities, aiming at developing new smart materials and technologies to meet the challenge of climate changes, contributing to the sustainability and improving people’s living quality. Taking the special opportunity, we are going to organize a workshop on Device Integrated Responsive Materials to demonstrate our progress and a symposium with well-known international speakers who are active in the same field.
